 Dette gir store muligheter. Ved å få selskaper og byer over hele verden til å bytte til LED belysning, vil det fjerne 553 millioner tonn med CO2 utslipp globalt og spare 1.132 TWh energi. Dette er nok til å gi strøm til 494 millioner husholdninger i et helt år.

Finansiering, støtte og subsidier har blitt gjort tilgjengelig i mange land for å gi fordeler til kommuner, private selskaper og beboere som er ute etter å redusere energi og karbonavtrykk. When “Yes” is selected the estimate considers the saving generated by a connected lighting solution that is a system using Internet of Things (IoT) technology to connect LED lighting devices to a network: lights can be remotely controlled, monitored, and optimized through a management system. Connected lighting solutions are designed to provide a range of benefits, such as energy savings, improved user experience, and enhanced safety and security. Otherwise, when “No” is selected the estimate considers the saving generated by standard LED lighting solution.
